This mixtape serves as a palate cleanser of sorts after 2007's GetBack. Big Pooh and Phonte sound more relaxed here than on their full-length, though the signal-to-noise ratio is also a lot lower. The emcee's conversational slice-of-life lyrics lift "Do It to Death" (featuring Supastition and Rhymefest) and "Can't Stop Us " (which flips Marvin Gaye's classic "I Want You"). "Delusional," produced by Oddisee, is jumpy, Southern-fried boom bap, while Skillz predictably adds some levity to the contagious "Life of the Party."
