Lonesome Val

Following a hiccup in the early days of her career, critically acclaimed NYC singer-songwriter Lonesome Val was nurtured back to the forefront of the coffeehouse circuit by another critical fave, Suzzy Roche. The pair worked together on Val's 1994 effort, NYC, but she has produced little else since. Her music is rooted in country and comes with a folkie's sense of accessibility.
