As an emcee, DJ, producer and member of the D.I.T.C. (Diggin in the Crates) crew, Lord Finesse has established his place as one of the most influential figures in hip-hop. Raised in the South Bronx, he first turned heads with his classic 1990 debut, Funky Technician. His well-crafted beats, smooth sample manipulation and intelligent lyricism have helped to develop the East Coast sound.
