This seasoned ranchera band has made a career of churning out ballads romantic enough to serve as the soundtrack for an '80s perfume ad. And like Windsong, they really stay on your mind, sucking you in with swelling strings and synths, ardent vocals (check out "Nadie Se Muere" -- even the Rs are rolled con passion), and plaintive sentiments (after all, this is an entire album dedicated to expressing just how it would feel "if you go away"). We're not trying to be dramatic or anything. We're just saying: if you're not moved, you might be dead inside.
