Yet another album nailing down Los Tigres' rep as the most politically relevant -- and versatile -- norteno group in the business. They can do it all: political commentary in thinly veiled metaphor ("La Granja"), playful cumbia ("Minita de Oro"), perspective-shifting narratives (two dads in the hospital's "Sala de Espera") or a throwaway, Univision-ready paean to soccer ("Como la Vida Sin Futbol"). They can even construct the ideal attentive lover in "Mi Curiosidad." The sheer diversity of sentiment and style can be breathtaking, even more so when you note how effortlessly they switch gears.
