Street Hassle

Street Hassle by Lou Reed
Released: Oct 1991
Label: Arista
A raw return to form from 1978, surely due in part to the punk explosion going on. Plenty of dirty, messed up rock n' roll and none of the polish or studio musicians to bog down the sound. The junkie symphony "Street Hassle" is the obvious highlight, but the same could be said for the sloppy, Velvet Underground leftover "Real Good Time Together." One of his best.
