Loverboy is here to stay! Or, at least, that's what they claim. "We need a rock 'n' roll revival," howls Mike Reno on the self-titled opener, "because you and me are never going away." Such a bold and obviously contradictory proclamation, but it raises the question: If you and me never went away, why is a revival needed? The album's answer is equally paradoxical. The first three tracks are new compositions (the best being "Heartbreaker"). The rest, however, are fairly faithful re-re-recordings of Loverboy classics "Working for the Weekend," "Hot Girls in Love," "The Kid Is Hot Tonight," etc.
