Low vs Diamond

Low vs Diamond originally started out as a three piece jam band based in Colorado but when founding members Lucas Field, Tad Moore and Howie Diamond graduated from college and moved to LA, the trio made a switch to a sort of traditional indie rock with great big muscles in the production and arrangement departments. Incorporating elements of Avalon-era Roxy Music into their mid tempo semi-ballads (read: their songs are equally suitable for making out to as they are for post-breakup depression), the band was quickly signed to Epic and released a self-titled debut in April of 2008.
