With a hard-drinking, hog-wrestling, sushi-hating ethos and distinctly southern underpinnings, Bryan's Capitol debut brings to mind a younger, untamed Alan Jackson. Bryan had a hand in cowriting all but one of these tunes, and though he seems more capable with the bottle-swinging sing-along ("All My Friends Say") than the tear-jerking cancer ballad ("The Car In Front Of Me"), our favorite is the raunchy romp of "Over The River," where he name drops Bocephus with appropriate rowdiness.
