The solo debut from M-1 is less confrontational, though not less political, than his previous Dead Prez releases. The best songs, "Land, Bread and Housing" and "Confidential," manage to be pointed without being pedantic, rooting their politics in real life vignettes. It's also wonderful to hear Tribe legend Q-Tip return to form on the excellent "Love You Can't Borrow."
