Biography

Songwriter/guitarist/pianist Andy Hull's Atlanta-based outlet for alienation and heartbreak consistently enjoys the praise of critics and cool kids alike. With a series of EPs and a pair of full-lengths under their belts, Manchester Orchestra successfully inhabit the no man's land between Pavement's witty lyrics and Bright Eyes' un-self-consciously wimpy, edge-of-the-bed manner. Following the EP You Brainstorm, I Brainstorm. But Brilliance Needs a Good Editor, Manchester Orchestra released full-length I'm Like a Virgin Losing a Child in 2006. Means Everything to Nothing followed in '09.
