Maria Bamford

Comedian and voice actor Maria Bamford has been performing stand-up on her own and as a member of the lauded Comedians of Comedy Tour since age 19. Her list of film and TV appearances includes The Sarah Silverman Program, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Stuart Little 2 and Open Season, among many, many others. In addition to inclusion on several hipster comedian albums, Bamford has consistently put out records of her live sets since her debut, The Burning Bridges Tour, surfaced in 2005. Utilizing an astonishing array of voices, Bamford parodies her dysfunctional family and points out her own shortcomings with a strong surreal streak -- often sending her narrative jokes into utterly absurd territory.
