Television personality Mariana has been trying to extend her celebrity to the music world for years. Lo Se…, released in 1998, didn't do the trick, but when she released Sere Una Nina Buena in 2004, audiences seemed ready for the romantic, upbeat cumbia sound she'd adopted. "Me Equivoque" hovered in the charts for several months, while "Que No Me Faltes Tu" swam almost to the top.
