If you thought Mario's stint on Dancing With The Stars would have an influence on his music, you'll be disappointed. D.N.A. contains no dashes of foxtrot, or even a particularly danceable groove. His fourth album picks up where 2007's Go left off: sleek, well-executed mid-tempo jams about love. Mario's voice is still a bit thin, but he's definitely exploring what adulthood can mean for a crooner. Sometimes that maturity is bland (the inspirational "I Choose You"), but mostly, it's pleasant and innocuous. The rich "Get Out" and feathery "Stranded" are especially nice.
