With Cliff Richard, Kim Wilde's dad ("Kids in America") was the face of U.S. brand rock 'n' roll in the U.K. in the years before The Beatles, Kinks, Stones and Animals took over the world. As the title suggests, the entirety of Wilde's singles output is included here. While his early songs ("Honeycomb," "Endless Sleep") approximate an excellent distillation of Elvis Presley, Eddie Cochran and Jerry Lee Lewis, later material, for better or for worse, wouldn't be out of place floating past in between songs on Pink Floyd's The Wall.
