The sophomore album from emcee Masta Killa is vintage Wu Tang. The production is typically murky basement soul, though the fire of RZA's early work has been supplanted by the elegiac strings of "Street Corner" and the dusty swoon of "Nehanda & Cream" and "Pass the Bone." It's the perfect platform for Killa, who seems to be positioning himself as a twilight revolutionary. "Older Gods" offers a heavy dab of Five Percent rhetoric, while "Street Corner" acknowledges, "Things change/ Soldier, I remain the same/ I'm older/ I embrace the pain."
