Children's music is the new vogue, and parents everywhere will be thanking their lucky stars that MMW's getting in on the act, thanks to -- what else? -- a playdate that led to the idea. Let's Go Everywhere is pretty delightful, and its winning equation goes something like this: friendly acid jazz + pint-sized collaborators = quality kids music. Guest vocalist Tim Ingham nails the title track, and John Lurie's gruff rendering of the strange story "The Squalb" is a highlight. But that funky, hard-driving rendition of "Pat A Cake" takes the, uh, cake.
