by Mel Torme
Released: Jan 1964
This ballad album from 1965 gets upgraded with a dozen bonus tracks. Torme's voice is so beautiful on it's own that it doesn't require all these syrupy strings, and he was usually at his best in jazz contexts, but it remains a respectable set, and the extra cuts are so rare that they're of real interest.
