Biography

One of the top Soul Jazz guitarists of the '60s, Sparks played with most (or even all) of the top organists and saxophone players of the day, including Jack McDuff, Jimmy McGriff and Charles Earland. His sound is rhythmic and funky, similar in many ways to Grant Green.
