Not to be confused with global beats darling M.I.A., German new wavers Mia., or German minimal-techno producer M.I.A. (Michaela Grobelny), this M.I.A. was an early '80s melodic hardcore band who lived in Las Vegas and Orange County during their brief life as a band. They were affiliated with Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles label.
