Released: Jan 2003
With his youthful, energetic debut, Michael Buble proves himself a capable and engaging stylist, especially on brassy Sinatra standards like the opening "Fever" and "Come Fly Away With Me." When his attention turns to tunes from the boomer rock canon -- Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" or Van Mo's "Moondance," for instance -- he's still confident, but the arrangements are less convincing. Regardless, the collection is a promising start to a fruitful career.
