Vaguely MIDI-eval music (MIDI meets the Middle Ages) accompanies precious retellings of Aesop's classic fables. According to tradition, Aesop was a sixth-century Greek slave who at times used his storytelling powers to affect politics. He was also known for his great wit, cutting social observations and support for the common people. Could he have predicted that 26 centuries later his tales would be retold and then punctuated by explanatory songs? It's doubtful. But kids will probably enjoy Mish's playful interpretations of the fables.
