Opening with a hooky but simple CCM tune that tries to rock a little, Smith's first album since early 2004 plays it safe with approachably sweet worship songs, but it's hard to go in any other direction with that apple-pie edge to his always upfront vocals. He still likes the na na's and yeah yeah's, but they do lend a contagiously friendly and buoyant atmosphere to his music, making radio-friendly hits seem to happen effortlessly. "Grace" is a rugged Smitty moment and "Silence" pulses with a slightly Celtic cadence. But hands down, the one track with true originality is the angelic anthem "Come See."
