Released: Apr 2012
Label: Suburban Noize Records
Hollywood gutter-punk rapper Mickey Avalon spent years in major label purgatory before L.A. indie Suburban Noize rescued him, and a cursory listen to Loaded reveals why: There's nothing as catchy as "Jane Fonda" or "My Dick," the trashy MySpace hits that briefly made him a rising star. It's just as well. Avalon's tales of recreational drug use and male prostitution were bound to flame out like Tila Tequila. At least you can't say he sold out: Here he predicts his own "Funeral" while dancing with "Mr. Brownstone" and offering a "Party in My Pants."
