With his home-recorded bits of quivering folk genius and blasts of white noise, Phil Elvrum's recordings have made for some of the most adventuresome indie rock in the last few years. The Glow Pt. 2 covers a lot of ground, from lo-fi sound manipulation to heavenly noise pop. It's ambitious and not always successful, but tracks like "The Moon" are incredible.
