The Last Sucker
Released: Sep 2007
Label: 13th Planet Records
Al Jourgensen himself announced that The Last Sucker would be Ministry's final album so he could concentrate on his newly launched label, 13th Planet Records, and avoid overstaying his musical welcome. Ministry certainly has not become the sort of watered-down cash cow Jourgensen is smart enough to avoid as the beats here are merciless, the sense of humor remains blacker than black (a Ministry trademark), and the songs, well, there aren't any bad ones. The Last Sucker also completes Jourgensen's trilogy of albums that rail against the high jinks of the Bush administration.
