After a debut album that bopped like vintage synth-pop, namely Speak & Spell-era Depeche Mode, Ministry starts roaring. Of course, Al Jourgensen and company have yet to adopt metal's aggro-evil, but jams like "Just Like You" and "My Possession" find the group increasing the tempos and torturing the synths while following Fad Gadget and Cabaret Voltaire into electro-industrial. At the same time, it's really amazing how danceable this stuff is, especially the 12" version of "Over the Shoulder."
