Biography
A vocal trio from the UK, Mis-Teeq comprise Alesha Dixon, Sabrina
Washington, and Su-Elise Nash. Longtime friends, they paid their dues performing in various "garage" clubs before scoring a hit with their debut single "Why." The group's first LP, Lickin' On Both Sides, went double
platinum on the strength of four Top-10 singles and it earned them various
awards and accolades from the British press. After touring extensively and
performing at Buckingham Palace, they released another hit single, the
slickly-produced pop anthem "Scandalous," in 2003. Their second album Eye
Candy appeared shortly thereafter, followed by their self-titled US debut.
