Mission of Burma's fourth release since reuniting in 2004, Unsound finds the Boston-based post-punk godfathers in familiarly angular but melodic territory. That said, the band is not regurgitating the old moves by any stretch; instead, Mission of Burma picks up where they left off after main dude Roger Miller's nasty case of tinnitus submarined the band. As usual, singing drummer Peter Prescott essentially steals the show with a Volcano Suns-reanimating rocker, "Sectionals in Mourning."
