Maintaining the one-album-every-three-years schedule they've relied on since 1995, even though only Dave Wyndorf's tenure predates 1999, Jersey's stoner-metal prototypes settle on life as a modern-day Hawkwind once and for all. Most of the album sails smooth through the stars on its silver machine, swirling sunward á la Icarus in the nine-minute title track and cynical state-of-the-culture climax "Stay Tuned." Sitar-spiked Donovan cover "Three Kingfishers" is just as trippy. But "Hallelujah" opts for a Black Oak Arkansas swamp hoedown instead, and quotes Sly Stone about squares in the process.
