About Moped

Moped started as a sidecar project of the experimental Funk band Vinyl Richie. He was coined the name during a live solo performance when spectators claimed his set-up resembled less of a sidecar and more like an independent vehicle, such as a motor-powered bicycle. The result is a variety of Dub-influenced Indie Trip-Hop with use of alto sax, bass, loops, and a drum machine.
