Released: Feb 1982
Label: Rhino/Elektra
Long out-of-print, this 1982 set was Mose Allison's first recording in a number of years. His biting lyrics and "country blues-goes-bop" are the same as before, but he plugs in his keyboards (the guy is amazing playing anything) and brings in funk specialist Phil Upchurch on guitar and has Joe Farrell play sax and flute. The title cut and tracks like "I Don't Want Much" are classic Mose Allison and his ability to play the electric keyboards like a jazz banjo has to be heard to be believed.
