Released: Dec 2009
Recorded at the same time as 2008's The New Game, this self-titled fifth album from the alt-metal zillion-sellers has four separate editions, each with special "back-lit" artwork. That means you need a black light to see the album cover, read the liner notes, etc. Fortunately, Mudvayne put as much attention to detail into the music of Mudvayne as they did into the packaging, resulting in a set of songs built around prog elements ("Beautiful and Strange"), radio metal hooks ("Scream With Me") and straight-up Pantera power ("Heard It All Before").
