Bygone leaders of the death/grind world, Nasum tragically lost vocalist/guitarist Mieszko Talarcyzk to the Indian Ocean earthquake of 2004, which led to their untimely disbandment. The commemorative Doombringer, a live recording from one of their final shows in Osaka, Japan, in 2004, features 16 rage-fueled tracks of high-velocity riffage, hammering backbeats, blistering time signatures, furious vocals and all-around ultra-tight musicianship. If it were not for the roaring crowd, it'd be pretty hard to believe this explosive technical display is indeed a live album.
