Seattle native Natalie Grant developed an ear for music at a young age; singing in church became a regular occurrence for her whole musical family. While in college, she auditioned for the six-person ensemble TRUTH and travelled with them from 1994 until 1996, performing approximately 300 shows each year. Following those formative years, Grant headed to Nashville with next to no money in her pockets, prepared to join the hordes of starving artists. God and her talent saved her from the honky-tonks of lower Broadway, and she was quickly plucked from obscurity. In addition to her successful recording career and growing family, Grant devotes time campaigning to stop human trafficking.
