Neil Diamond has enjoyed a surprisingly rich career -- ace singer-songwriter and AM radio rocker who finally earned his first No. 1 album in 2008. Through it all, Diamond has been a master showman who puts on insanely entertaining concerts. His 1972 concert opus Hot August Night was his first long-form hit and it ended up putting the live rock album on the map. On this 2010 release, Diamond performs songs from throughout his career with a crazy amount of energy (just listen to "Cherry Cherry"). While the intensity can be exhausting at over 30 tracks, this is one awesome, sweaty ride.
