Former singer for the smarmy New Wave act Haircut 100. In his solo work, Heyward has evolved in a guitar-based Power Pop direction curiously akin to Del Amitri. Perhaps wishing to disassociate himself from his prim, prissy origins, he's beefed up his sound recently.
