These two albums were released in 1982 and 1983, respectively. Anyone familiar with Sudden from his work with the post-punk Swell Maps won't be surprised at how strong these songs are. The only real discovery is how Sudden adheres to classic, sloppy rock n' roll in the vein of peak-era Rolling Stones and any-era New York Dolls.
