Noisex

Launched in 1992 by Raoul Roucka (and recently joined by Phil Philter), Noisex create sheer technoise terror. Bringing a militant structure to violent outbursts of noise, Roucka programs distressed EBM beats half-disintegrated by ripping interference. The result is Techno devoid of its Funk origins set adrift in a sea of churning dissonance. Synths rise up with a terrifying growl under the duress of oppressive distortion. In the domain of Noisex, the body is not a site for the pleasure of creating dance beats, but rather a site for abuse.
