Unlike Sugar Ray and the Counting Crows, O.A.R.'s first knack isn't crafting radio-friendly ear candy. It's a skill they had to develop over the past three to four years. All Sides sees the band shifting from college-bred party funk to piano rock a la Lifehouse and Pat Monahan. The newfound sensitivity is cemented with two Rhapsody exclusive bonus tracks: acoustic versions of "Shattered (Turn the Car Around)" and "Lay Down," the originals of which can be found on 2005's Stories of a Stranger.
