Oranger

This group from San Francisco isn't your everyday quartet, it is a power quartet. Armed with a highly explosive drummer who could easily be an illegitimate son of the late and great Keith Moon, Oranger can be held responsible for all the earthquakes that roll underneath the Bay. Although the band is obsessed with vintage tube microphones and the ongoing saga of Brian Wilson, its Super Glue-catchy pop songs are laden with alternative radio friendly sonic guitar distortion, crunchy tones and psilocybin song arrangements. Both the bassist and guitarist used to play in Overwhelming Colorfast, so you know they've got love for the Big Muff Pi distortion box and heavenly harmonies in that golden West Coast timbre.
