About Owen

Owen is the side-project of Mike Kinsella, one-third of the Kinsella brothers, who collectively are to Chicago indie rock what Rocky was to Philly boxing. Bands they are/were in include Cap'n Jazz, Joan of Arc, American Football, Make Believe and Owls. As many of those groups are wild and crazy, it makes sense that Mike's solo stuff would be about as delicate and soft as a newborn chick. Finger-picked acoustic guitars cry on the shoulder of sad pianos and depressed drums. Put this on at a party and your guests are liable to kill themselves.
