Music critics may be misguided, but we all know one thing: the more bombarded we are with promo for a particular record, the more disposable the music is. Always. The same principle applies to Paris Hilton's totally gratuitous "maxi-single" for "Stars Are Blind." Two weeks after the song is released to a collective "meh," this collection of six club-ready remixes is loosed upon the general public. Again, thanks to deft overproduction and a big-beat boost, the music overshadows Paris' total mediocrity enough to squeeze another 15 minutes out of her music career.
