Biography

Formed in 1986, Patrick Street does indeed include legends of Irish music -- most notably beloved balladeer and multi-instrumentalist Andy Irvine. The group signed to Green Linnet the same year and has released a string of excellent albums ever since, starting with 1986's Burke/Daly/Irvine/McGlynn, Patrick Street continuing through 2002's Street Life.
