The soundtrack to this ill-received 1984 film by the same name is a low light of McCartney's career, comprised mostly of material written between the late '60s and early '80s. Unfortunately, the tunes aren't reinterpreted as much as they are regurgitated, often with painfully produced note-for-note exactitude. The lone highlight is in the lovely mid-tempo tune "No More Lonely Nights," which is included on the CD release in no less than five versions.
