Paul Thorn

Tupelo, Miss., native and former prize fighter who fought Roberto Duran in 1987, Paul Thorn is a gifted singer-songwriter with a knack for affecting lyrical hooks and a warm, slightly rough voice. His songs, which are deeply rooted in the Southern country, blues and rock traditions, have been covered by a number of country artists including Joe Diffie and Ronnie Milsap.
