Out There And Back

Good old PvD -- he always delivers. Originally released in 2000, this was one of the must-have electronic albums of that year, with "Another Way," "Avenue" and "Tell Me Why (The Riddle)" being played everywhere, and they all still sound good. The other tracks are absolute winners as well, especially "Pikes" and "Vega." This was arguably the first great dance record of the new century and remains a testament to PvD's considerable production skills -- he's one of the few out there who can truly translate that hands-in-the-air euphoric rush to disc without resorting to formulaic cheese.
