Deanda joins the youthful R&B clique of Cassie, Ciara, Ashanti and Brandy. On her debut, the 16-year-old adds a mature Latin pop flare to slinky hip-hop rhythms and sassy vocals. She offers songs of heartache for the teenager in all of us ("Footprints on My Heart"), girly upbeat tunes to accompany a shopping spree at Wet Seal ("Make 'em Clap to This) and heartfelt ballads ("Overloved") to play in the background while curled up with this week's crush.
