Phil Driscoll

Phil Driscoll first appeared in 1969 with A Touch of Trumpet, a secular record that showcased his ability on the instrument and kicked off a career that has brought him no small amount of success in both mainstream and Christian circles. After a stint in the mid-1970s as a jazz/rock/pop musician, Driscoll began to release records that focused on his religious beliefs and brought his Joe Cocker-esque vocals to the forefront.
