Released:
Label: INO/COLUMBIA
Produced by Pete Kipley (MercyMe), Wickham's third studio album poses spiritual questions about both the earthly realm and the afterlife. The collection starts out in the garden with the track "Eden," then traces the longing to return to paradise before coming full circle with tracks that anticipate a future in Heaven. Heaven and Earth was primarily recorded in Wickham's hometown of San Diego, but he headed to famed Abbey Road Studios for a few tracks, complete with ethereal-sounding strings. The single "Safe," featuring labelmate/MercyMe frontman Bart Millard, is a standout.
